Been quite a while since the last update.

I've just been to Cannes for the MIPCOM conference, which was pretty okay.  The show I'm doing got a pretty good response from international buyers.  There might even be a couple of pre-sales, which would be cool.

Long Road to Heaven
The Bali Bombing movie that Wai Leng and I wrote is doing better than I expected.  It's being aired in Australia's History Channel over the weekend.

Even ChannelNewsAsia has bought it.  They will be airing it in 2 parts though.  The first part this weekend (Sun 7:32pm) and the part 2 next week.  There is also a 'making of' type show on Monday (10:33am), which I'm not in, but it apparently talks about the script quite a bit.

Anyways.  Here's the update so far.

News about the Movie

Here are some articles about the Bali Bombing movie that Wai Leng and I wrote.  Pretty mixed reactions, I'd say.  But hey, it's not often that something I do gets mentioned on BBC World :)

Long Road to Heaven

Just a quick update.  The Bali Bombing movie that Wai Leng and I wrote is about to be released.  It will premiere in Jakarta at the end of January.  I'm not too sure whether when it will come to Singapore, or indeed to any other part of the world.

The title in Indonesia is "Long Road to Heaven", and here's the link to the movie webpage.

The Internets is Broken!

An earthquake near Taiwan severed much of Asia's connection to the Internet.  Many sites cannot be accessed, and those that can, like this one, is horrendously slow.

Worse, I just saw on the news it'll take about three weeks to get things back to normal again.  Bleah.  Guess I'll be missing the big launch of World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade.
